Three Prints Selected for Governor's Residence

I am honored to have three prints selected by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm and First Gentleman Daniel G. Mulhern to hang in the Lansing Governor's residence for the coming year. The Governor's Residence Michigan Artists Program brings artwork of Michigan artists into the public areas of the residence for one year. There will be an artist reception - date to be determined.
The 3 pieces selected are Winter Thaw, Shy That Way and Guardian.

Linda, that's wonderful! Congratulations - you certainly deserve the honor. Beautiful work - and I keep being impressed with the way you combine developing your skills with building your connections and display opportunities. You are my idea of a real professional artist.

Linda, I see me and my print are in good company! I'm afraid I did not adequately express my feelings to you when you delivered "Shy That Way" on Wednesday. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It really cheered me up and made me stop feeling sorry for myself. Dave LOVES it too, said she reminds him of me, the boat(I love being on the water) and my "great legs"! It truly is a piece of art that I will treasure forever. THANK YOU.
